AURA’s General Director Filip Engelsmann attended this meeting as a representative of AURA. After the opening speech of President of DSIA Jiří Hynek, the Czech Minister of Defence Martin Stropnický outlined the steps that aim to support the domestic defence industry. The support for domestic companies, according to him, should be based on trust, partnership and cooperation with members of DSIA. He literally said: “The key is to realize that our cooperation is conditioned by mutual trust. The common denominator is national defence capacity and we are partners in securing it.”
During the General Meeting there were also discussed and approved changes in the membership structure of DSIA.
