The main guests were the Minister of Defence of the Czech Republic Lubomír Metnar, Deputy Minister of the Armaments and Acquisition Division Filip Říha and the Director of the Industrial Cooperation Department Tomáš Kopečný. A three-member delegation from AURA was led by its executive director Zdeněk Buřival. Among other things, the Minister of Defence appealed for a gradual establishment of “a strong domestic industrial defence base”, to which the defence department will contribute by renewing the industrial cooperation section by 1 January 2020. From the point of view of our company, there was an interesting piece of information about the establishment of two new acquisition workplaces at the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic, which will work in the field of information technology and logistics.
