MCC Service

MC CATALOGUE Service is a codification tool based on MC CATALOGUE intended for manufacturers, suppliers and codification agencies.
MC CATALOGUE Service is efficient also for NCB codifiers when codifying off-line.

The codification data created by using MC CATALOGUE Service are transferred by e-mail or any convenient data carrier (e.g. CD-ROM) using electronic transactions to the NCB and imported to the MC CATALOGUE database.

MC CATALOGUE Service supports:

  • Easy draft item identification in accord with requirements of the NATO Codification System (NCS) including all basic functions like assigning an item name, item classification, reference or descriptive identification.
  • All outstanding functions in the same way as MC CATALOGUE (copying data elements, management of codification contract clauses, importing data from manufacturers, easy update of large tables).
  • It further allows creating and maintaining data for production of own commercial catalogues.

Unlike the configurations designed for NCBs it particularly does not allow:

  • Generating NATO Stock Number (NSN),
  • Generating electronic transactions for international data exchange including updated folders for NMCRL and preparing statistics for NAMSA.
  • MC CATALOGUE Service is a proper tool for codification agencies that carry out draft item codification according to:
  • Act No. 309/2000 Coll. on defence standardization, codification and government quality assurance of products and services designated for national defence in the Czech Republic
  • Act. No. 11/2004 Coll. on defence standardization, codification and government quality assurance of products and services designated for national defence in the Slovak Republic
