MCC Browser

Web tool for browsing codification data

MCC Browser (abbreviated from MC CATALOGUE Browser) is a smart web tool for scanning information about suppliers, manufacturers and their products (items of supply). MCC Browser can be used on the Web or distributed on a DVD-ROM and run directly without installation from a DVD-ROM.

MCC Browser is useful for NCBs, manufacturers, suppliers and codification agencies. Its database is updated using special export files from MC CATALOGUE or by standard transactions (KHN and KFF) used for update of the NMCRL.

MCC Browser supports:

• screening by NSN, NCAGE, RN, INC, NSC and other data elements;
• screening by characteristics of the item of supply;
• automated comparison between an import file and database records according to a selected key;
• export of selected records with chosen structure and defined format.
• placing often used records to a stack for easy retrieval

In addition to it, MCC Browser supports searching in the tables H2, H6 and MRD. The tables H2 and H6 are updated using the multilingual ACodP-2/3.

• Direct association between an item in the TIR and a web address with the item description (e.g. manufacturer’s web page)

MCC Browser is operable in standard internet browsers Firefox 2.0+ and Microsoft Internet Explorer 6+.
MCC Browser is a standalone product delivered on demand.
